The reason why I love Chinese music is because....

of the lyrics within the songs....

Not to say that songs of other languages can't do the same, but for Chinese songs, the melody and the lyrics kinda combine with each other to provide either the most soothing song you'll ever hear/need after a break-up, or quite simply the most heart-wrenching song not suitable for post-breakup but somehow keeps dragging you back to hearing it as it somehow has a counter-reaction reaction to it.....soothing you while at the same time adding insult to injury...

HAHA!

And speaking of Chinese songs, the one artiste who i'm OFFICIALLY naming to be my favourite Chinese singer of all time will have to be Sam Lee Sheng Jieh, or 李圣杰 for the Chinese-reading people around my blog (yes Wen Qi, you're 1 of them..haha)...

Reason for naming Sam Lee as the one?

His songs are all heart-wrenchingly soothing...and it has meaningful lyrics..like my favourite Sam Lee song for now, 最近:

For some of the non-Chinese speaking readers of The Sph3r3r3r 3ff3ct...this song is pretty much about.....well quite frankly i can't explain it, even though i know the meaning of the lyrics...haha!

Anyone who can enlighten the readers here, please leave a tag on the board and we'll get back to you shortly with regards to a possible prize you may pick up =)

Why this lyrics is currently my favourite for now? Well i have to say it is truly meaningful, 2 lovers who are worlds apart, with 2 different views/perspective...quite truthful around the world now isn't it?

Here's a piece of romance advice for all you lovers out there who run into a problem like this -
  • Sit your partner down and talk things out with him/her.
  1. Is there a future to your r/s?
  2. What is making you both sink into the rut further, with potentially no route for espace and a lot of cause for concern?
  3. What you both want from each other?
  4. Anything that both of you need to share with each other for the r/s to work?
  5. Be open during the talk..actually, be open THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE R/S.

Well if you all don't believe this to be good advice...i'll post my results of the talk with my girlfriend.......as soon as i find one =)

Have a good weekend guys =)

(PS: 2 blog postings in 1 day, all in quick succession....heh heh!..Will be updating about Open House and Kick-Off a little later...)
