It's been a SUPER DUPER long while ever since i blogged. (Yes Wen Qi, you're the very very one pestering me to blog blog everyday!)....but it's not difficult to see why i haven't been blogging. Strangely but surely, I'm turning in to something I've never envisage myself to be : SUPER-DUPER BUSY with no time for mates/friends..even myself!

Geez, better get on to the gist of why I haven't blogged in like centuries....

1) Terence Ong - Your resident Bartender cum football-pundit on TV

"Good evening once again Asia. It's good back to be back here serving you..either with cocktail of football facts and stats, or if you have a stone tongue and stomach, shots of football trivia! Whatever your taste, Club EPL is the place for you to be in"...

Club EPL is the new 30-min football preview show beamed live to the whole of Asia every Saturday(and occassionally, Sundays too...) on Star Sports. Hosted by Southampton die-hard fan Andy Penders and featuring Newcastle Singapore aka Kick-Off 2006 winner Terence Ong and former Geylang Utd defender PJ Roberts, it starts at 9.30pm...before the 9.55pm kick-off. This show is an total opposite to the Dykesy-helmed one on ESPN. They are the serious peeps, totally factual and football-related. Club EPL, however, is a laid-back atmospheric show which has funny things like Fact Off (45s of useless facts as the 3 hosts squares off against each other. It has to be about the 2 teams playing on the night itself, bt 1 non-footballing fact allowed.... Useless it may be...but we just love it!).

So catch it if you're at home chilling or even better if u have friends over! Tell them that you have a friend who's REALLY on TV! hahah...it's on every Saturday, 9.30pm..and these are the next avalible times you can see me...

Saturday 29th September - 9.30pm (Before Chelsea vs Aston Villa)
Sunday 30th September - 9.39pm (Before Man Utd vs Newcastle)

2) Terence Ong - The Poly Forum 2006: Sub Theme 2 Student Facilitator ( Student Faci)

18th September - 21st September 2006. I marked this date down on my calender initially with optimism and eagerness...but it all changed when i participated in the residential event proper.

Held at DownTown East for the first time ever, it was a 4-day-straight event which was packed from 7am in the morning all the way till 1-2am in the morning? I was in Sub-Theme 2 (Information Access: Are we overloaded, or are we starved?) and my fellow student facis were Kelvin (RP), Tigor (RP), Sheena (NP) and Alex (NYP). We all had fun i must agree, sleeping in during functions such as talks while working hard into the night at extra meetings so as to ensure our final presentation during the closing ceremony would be a success (thankfully it was! Sub Theme 2 oei!)...Late nights were a commodity during the 3 nights we had there and man, am i glad i had room-mates like Tigor and Nicholas (RP, SubTheme 5)..who were brothers to me. We did everything possible together (sleep in together, late together, MIA together..haha power man!). HOWEVER, the best thing that happened to me was having Sub-Theme 2 as my Sub-Theme...as well as getting to meet the other student facis and chill w them and create friendships. Now that beat meeting chicks at the forum proper itself!

HAHAHAHAH...

But only blip was organising of the event. Was ok but could have been better. But credit to D&D (though food there, and entire 4-day residential event was pretty crappy!).....though if u asked me if i wanna participate in the next Poly Forum...i'd say YES..as it's organised by TP man..the happening campus in the east, and the only polytechnic in Singapore to have TV Stars as P and VP of the SU!!!

3) Terence Ong - Your Camp Commandant (once again!) for TPSU OTC!

That's right...I've been appointed camp commandant yet again, with Yee Ping being my assistant...but rest assured, i won't bore you with speeches again..Yee Ping will be the camp commandant during the event itself. I'm just assisting with experience and paperwork procedures. GLs from past years..i expect you to come back and contribute...Year 3s, same for you guys..let's end our TP journey on a high!....IFC peeps ( Tay, Kelvin Lim, Pok, Teo, Hang, Sergeant, Ant, Zi Hui aka Bosstess, Han Wei, Rayner, Jon), i expect all the front 6 names to come in as Foodmin helpers while the last5 to come in as GLs..I know you guys can do a job and show TP that "hey, ENG also got talent that can help camps be better!".....more details to be posted when i get it...initial discussions w YP being held as of now =)

Other than that, I cant think of other major reasons that has been eating my time up. Just got back from Poh Suan's BDae celebrations...will upload photos and blog about it after i get the photos and some precious sleep.
