To add to this, i'm thankful for the support gained from all you guys out there throughout the recording & telecast period..you know who you are...Chung Xian, Firdaus, Kelvin Lim, Kenneth Tay, Pok and the rest of you IFC peeps, Newcastle Singapore for constantly filling the studio to the brim with black-and-white...

It was a nail-biting end to the final, people who watched it will know....we came out tops 33-32 after going behind early in the game..

Finally, big thanks to John Hirst, boss of Newcastle Singapore, in picking me and Damian to represent Newcastle Singapore in this show. I needed something like this to show to the world that I, Terence Ong, can talk-cock about football with real qualification(even if it means I can't do things like Mathematics, Science, Wireless Technology, Mobile Computing etc)...

I can't do alot of studying i'll admit..but football has always been my thing and i'm glad to have something to show for it, just like Alan Shearer has for his time at Newcastle despite no winner's medals - goals, adoration and adulation from the Geordie faithful and the record of being Newcastle United's all-time leading goalscorer....


With that said, what a way to end the football season for Newcastle fans both in Asia & the world - Newcastle Singapore winning the Kick-Off gameshow on the same night as Alan Shearer bid farewell to the Geordie with a last-minute penalty to win his testimonial game 3-2 vs Celtic......

2 big events for Newcastle all over the world....the only thing lacking now is who to replace Alan Shearer...


rest assured that you'll hear it first on the sPh3r3r3r 3ff3ct...and also from St. James Park when Damian & I will report to you guys LIVE as we make our trip to catch a Premiership game of our choice - most notably vs the scums, that is Manchester United...

a new manager, new players hopefully, UEFA Cup action to look forward to, hopefully we'll report a happy result from that night in Newcastle..
