Oh me lads,u shld've seen us gannin..Passin the folks along the road,& all of them were starin..Gannin along the Scotswood Road,2 see the Blaydon Race

well i can seriously bet a hell lot of you avid readers out there wouldn't understand what the #@$@%@$$#%#% hell my blog titles means huh?

haha, actually think not much of my blog titles made sense huh(or wait a minute..they do..just read the blog entries and you'll understand..WHAT! haha)...but out of point..let's carry on...

firstly, what does my title mean? well it is simply, like most of my other blog postings, lyrics from a song..this time the song being "The Blaydon Races", the official song for Newcastle United Football Club AKA NUFC...why this song u will wonder? well it is because we won for the 2nd time at St. James Park this season..and it's even more special as it was against our fiercest rivals, north-eastern neighbours Sunderland, who are seperated from us by only a mere 10 miles plus caging for the Mackems monkeys..heh heh!=x..well this game meant a lot to the Geordie nation..it is REALLY the only fixture we, the Geordies, look for whenever the fixture list comes out for the new season..PLUS being from the same region, tense rivalry, to say the least, is always expected..winning this game will earn the fans of the victorious team bragging rights until the next time the 2 sides meet, which for this season will be 17th April...and on to the match analysis now, whereby we took the lead through, surprise surprise, Shola Ameobi when from Emre Belozoglu's corner he lost his marker and sent a bullet header into the net to send the crowd into ruptures..but somehow Sunderland managed to claw 1 back almost immediately, when Liam Lawrence equalized with a shot from outside the penalty area...not to be intimidated, on home soil especially, Newcastle scored a 2nd, Ameobi taking centre stage yet again when he bundled with Steve Caldwell to send a Charles N'Zogbia cross into the net..replay shows that Caldwell's head directed the ball in, but Ameobi will have none of it and claims the goal is his to keep...arguably his best performance so far in a Newcastle shirt....but Sunderland(damn these monkeys..just cant seem to lie low and die..) equalised in quick-time fashion again, when Stephen Elliot scored with a spectacular strike from about 30 yards out...2-2 going in at Half-Time.....but well, though Sunderland came out in the 2nd half with abit more conviction than us, we still scored the last goal of the game..and who else but Tyneside's newest favourite son, Turkish star midfielder Emre curling in a free-kick that went in off the post, leaving Kelvin Davis absolutely no chance at all....

so 3-2 the match ended....i'm simply overjoyed that we kicked the shite out of Sunderland's arses...and earned bragging rights till April at least, when i expect yet another ass-whooping lesson to be imparted to them..heh heh..figners crossed that we'll have our full WORLD-CLASS squad then....marvellous..simply marvellous..now let's build on that success now and get our season started...=)

haha...lots of you are now in need of a break after such a long reading bout the Newcastle game...so kk...break u all shall have....

hahah...kk done!!...moving on to the 2nd part of my blog posting..met up with my sweetheart today at Bugis to have our rings oxidised and engraved on...it was just great seeing her..really revitalized my energy level..awhile without her can be a killer...and well wasn't feeling the best of myself as well..so to get to see her again, albeit for a few hours only, was simply splendid...accompanied her to see the Singapore Fashion Week: School Connexion segment, whereby Temasek Polytechnic's Temasek Design School were taking part...think she thoroughly enjoyed herself with all the beautiful creations and clothing on display...could just see her gleeing from ear to ear....am happy to see her happy, especially more so since it takes her mind off the throat infection she's gotta put up with, for a while at least..

but well...i gtg soon, aunt is nagging at me for not working but instead sitting here blogging away....but before i leave...food for thought that plauged me today...

\have you ever wondered that sometimes, even though the people around u claim to be happy, they might just not be?i mean..it's like u want them to be happy, and they tell u they're happy...but somehow u just cant put your finger on that niggling doubt within you that says "hey, that's not right..something's wrong"..

some people call it the special sense(haha...neither Peter Parker nor Halley-Joel Osmond can attest to having this special powers...)...others call it simple paranoia...i'm not sure what u can call me..maybe a mixture of both?but somehow i just feel that the people i care about, though they tell me they'll be alright, are not totally frank with me...

man i need psychological help

any takers??
