well...HELLO PEEPS AND FANS OF MY BLOG!!!!
it's been a long hiatus from blogging man...and i have to apologize to a few people(yes Corinne...it's you...maybe Carissa is up for running also..hah..=x) who expected my blog to be updated, 1 way or another at least.

but cant really blame me...i've been bugged down with lots of things....namely "TPSU FOW/FOC 05/06" and "TP ENG Orientation 05/06 / TPSU Orientation Finale 05/06" taking up SUPER MUCH of the 21 day-long absence incurred on this blog...

but hey hey...no matter what happens to the show, it must go on somehow..and without further ado..lemme present to u all, ladies and gentlemen, "POST" No. 6.....*claps from audience*...(haha...okok..im going paranoid)


firstly...on to the more important things...i just got back from both sets of orientation programmes done up by TPSU and TP:ENG...and needless to say...TPSU's one had a bigger impact on me..difference will be elaborated...but well...why TPSU got my vote would be that it had the exact same impact, or maybe even higher, on me this year as a HGL(yes, i got appointed Head GL for this time around..came as quite a surprise as i wasn't expecting myself to fill such a position one...) when compared to last year when i was in my 1st FOC as a freshmen(Phalanx FOC...u rock man!!Phalanx OEI!!!)

and throughout this FOW/FOC period ,of about roughly 8-9days?, i got to know a lot of good friends, from both freshies of Krypton/other empires and also from the main comm(peeps like Stacie,Grace,Alvin Ting,Alvin Neo,Lester,Ah Boon,Melissa,Zhe Han,Andrew,Darren,Ah Guang,Phyllis,Khai,Safahri,Han Wei,Alwyn,Yao Ming..and others whom i may have accidentally left out...u know who u are...)...and not only that...i got to learn from a gd leader such as Alvin Ting on how to be a good FA/HGL...thou it's true that we play hard when it's time to..but when it's time to work, Alvin shows true professionalism that i admire and respect and hope that it rubs on me well enough

downside of this FOW/FOC may be that i lost my voice a few times...but i have NEVER REGRETTED this year's camp..and will cherish all the memories i have of this camp...


Moving on to the 2nd big thing tt just ended..which was TP:ENG's Week Zero orientation program...i was drafted into the Program Comm for this camp..and man was it a disaster...organization was a mess..so too were the other committees..for once i was happy that i had to be taken out of an orientation program as TPSU came calling me on the 3rd day as part of their "Olympiad officials" team, which i'll elaborate more on later...

but a few things i wasn't happy bout Week Zero was that on the 2nd day...there was supposed to be Mass Games around TP that's scheduled for 3.30pm....and at 3.15pm the station masters(me and a few of the program comm, namely Ben,Eva and ZhengYong) were ALREADY PREPARED at our stations when we were called back and told that the program WAS CANCELLED.....we just felt like WTF!!....i mean..how can u just plan something, and go back on it right at the death??makes no sense...ANOTHER THING was the fact that i tried to "take"(ok..maybe steal seems a better word) a ENG Mentor shirt from Log Comm's stock on the 2nd day..and when i got found out...a seriously-pissed Log Comm IC took it away from me...and didn't give me anything. Then on the 3rd day..everyone from comm. were suppose to get the shirt with their sizing..but i cldn't as i was with TPSU..so i got Eva to take for me...but alas..i was left with M when i needed an XL for just-nice fitting...shucks....i got injustice man!!!


but there's always that glaring light to save u at the end of each dark tunnel...and this light came in the form of the TPSU Orientation Finale. I seriously had a lot of fun with the TPSU peeps..and knew a lot of peeps better(Wen Qi/Pamela and a lot more)...made a lot of new friends in the form of peeps like Li Peng/Adeline/Fuwat...TPSU rocks totally man..thou im nt sure if i'll run for committee yet like Alvin advised me to as im nt sure of the time commitment i'll have to give out to SU..but i'll consider..and will post my decision here soon...watch out for this space...


another highlight of this hiatus would be the few purchases i've made with my DaySpring pay of SGD540+...as u can see on the "WishList" section of my blog..a few things have been canceled out..namely the Mizuno volleyball shoes, England 05/07 Home Kit(got mine with Terry 6 at the back..woohoo!), KRC Genk 04/05 Away Kit...and half canceled would be cheap jerseys on eBay...hhaha...if im able to..will post up the pics of the Mizuno shoes and jerseys ASAP.....damn chio!!!!althou it came at a heavy price as total purchases cost me $110+$120+$80=$310 out of my $540 pay...sheesh!!!...and i have 2 more SGD80 jerseys coming in...die die die..no makan during 1st week of sch liao!!!hahahah...=x =x =x =x x= x= x=.....


a few more things before the big conclusin of this super-big post....went for TNP Big Walk today with Hafiz...and met up with Li B/PengWei and Pok and their gang halfway....had fun with their group and Hafiz especially as we walked for 5km only out of 10km and then proceeded to Suntec's McD to have BF and slack...haha...thou bonding with Hafiz was good man....1 of my besties definetly he is..hmm? .....hahaha


kk...ending off...it's the "her" time again...haha...this time it's a bit more complicated....but to be brief and not to leak out "intimate" details...but we moved 6 steps forward during the nites of FOW...but stupidly...i committed a grave mistake..and a few days after tt..during the nites of FOC..we moved 10 steps backward(making it a deficit of 4 steps)...thou we did have a heart-to-heart talk and i tink it did the trick as we're nw moving forward, back to where we were post-FOW at least....

but my main point is this...im willing to wait for her..even if it takes 6mths or a year...as long as i know there's smth worth fighting for..i'll fight on...and im adapting..u don't have to sacrifice anything for it...neither do i...all it needs is compromise..and tt's what im working on...so give me time and a gd chance...when the right timing comes...u can hand me back the tix aite??


so for now....im signing off..with a promise that from now on...blog entries will hopefully be more frequent and then i wldn't have to type so many things as if my life depended on it...haha...
